Field Trips & Festivals

In Montessori, learning extends beyond the classroom walls. Field trips and festivals provide children with meaningful, hands-on experiences that connect their studies to the world around them.

From early years through upper elementary, children explore art, science, and history through field trips to museums, theaters, and cultural sites. Upper elementary students also visit Catalina Island for team-building, environmental studies, and hands-on learning.

School festivals celebrate culture, community, and the environment. Highlights include the International Festival, where students create miniature museums of different countries, perform traditional dances, and share cultural traditions.

Through these trips and celebrations, students connect learning to real-world experiences, develop cultural awareness, and build confidence, collaboration, and creativity.
