Summer School

In Montessori, Summer is a time for both learning and joy. Our Summer School program, offered for children from toddler through 5th grade, follows the same rich curriculum as the regular school year while allowing for a lighter, more playful pace. Mornings are dedicated to traditional Montessori academic work, and afternoons are filled with activities such as art, cooking and more, giving children the chance to stay engaged in their studies while also enjoying extra time for exploration, creativity, and outdoor fun.

Each week, children continue their Montessori lessons in math, language, and cultural studies, balanced with a variety of hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

Longer blocks of time are devoted to art, movement, and games, helping children strengthen friendships and enjoy the social side of school in a more relaxed environment.

A highlight of the summer is our Water Play Fridays, where children cool off with outdoor water activities and share a community meal of grilled hot dogs.

These joyful traditions bring students and teachers together in celebration, creating memories that last long after summer ends.

By combining the consistency of Montessori learning with the freedom of summer play, our program offers the best of both worlds. Children maintain their academic progress, nurture their independence, and experience the delight of summer in a safe and supportive community.
